Image Ads may be served directly by Yahoo! or by one of the following approved 3rd party servers.
Doubleclick, Mediaplex, Atlast DMT, Bluestreak.

All 3rd party ads must be trafficked as JavaScript tags, we do not currently accept iframe tags.

Animation

15 Seconds maximum

Frame Rate

maximum 25 frames per second in EU, 18 frames per second for US.
For more information, please read "SWFs with High Frame Rates May Slow System Performance".

Backup Gif

A Backup Gif must be provided for non-flash users.
This Gif should follow the specifications outlined in the Image Ad section on the Standard Ad Unit Page

Audio

Non-user-initiated audio is not permitted in flash ads.
Please consult the Audio guidelines in the General Rules above.

Load Movies

Up to four additional flash movies may be loaded upon user click. Each additional movie loaded may not exceed 50K. Yahoo! must serve all .swf files associated with ad. If you require dynamically updating content please speak to your sales representative.

Data Capture

Data capture is allowed but must follow the Policy Guidelines for Ad Units that Collect Personal Information as above. Any form submissions should be trackable by Yahoo! via our re-directs, please contact you sales person if you are unsure.

Flash Clickthrough Commands

For the ad to clickthrough within our ad systems an invisible / transparent click layer button needs to be added on the topmost layer of the flash file. Attach this command to the button:

}
